Knowledge is power.

It doesn't take a lot of Googling to discover medical literature surrounding Cannabis, more specifically, cannabinoids.  .

Cannabinoids are compounds in Cannabis which interact with receptors in our bodies, thereby mediating the actions of cells in various physiological systems (muscular, skeletal, nervous, endocrine, immune, etc).  These mediations are what instigate the medicinal and therapeutic properties that cannabinoids have on the body to alleviate symptoms of a myriad of diseases and even kill cancer cells.  But we don't need Cannabis to introduce cannabinoids, our bodies naturally produce them.  These are called endocannabinoids, and our bodies produce them through processes pertaining to omega fatty acids and amino acids.

So why do we need an extraneous source of cannabinoids?  Unfortunately, sometimes our bodies cannot produce enough endocannabinoids to keep up with the degradation of our cells and defend our bodies from free radicals (toxins that come from the food, air and water we take in) which help to perpetuate disease and sickness.  Fortunately the Cannabis plant has an abundance of cannabinoids (over 100) to assist in the repair of damaged and mutated cells.

Not only is this literature available to anyone with access to the internet and a web browser, but it is substantial.  Although it's only been 52 years since THC (the psychoactice cannabinoid in Cannabis which produces the euphoric "high") was isolated by Dr Raphael Mechoulam, it is one of the most researched, yet prohibited, plants on the planet.

Below you will find medical literature that I have been compiling since 2004.  Please feel free to download, print, share and disseminate to anyone you feel would benefit.

US Patents on Cannabinoids

It is important to understand the dichotomy of the political outlook on Cannabis, and this is best represented by the United States' stance on the medical acceptance of it.  On August 11, 2016, the DEA refused to reclassify Cannabis to acknowledge medical value.  It was kept as a Schedule 1 substance, meaning there is no medical use for it AND poses risk to users because it is highly addictive...this could not be further from the truth.  The US government hold patents on cannabinoids to be used for medical conditions.

Click each title to view its patent in full.  They are as follows:

Medicinal Acidic Cannabinoids

Cannabinoids as Anti-inflammatory

CBD

CBD for COPD

CBD for Diabetes

CBD for Neuropathy

CBD for Nausea

CBD Nasal Spray

Since the 1970's studies have been published on that anti-tumour properties of Cannabis.

Juicing Raw Cannabis

Popular methods of ingesting Cannabis include smoking, vaporizing, eating, sublingual, topical balm, teas.  The lesser known method, and probably the most beneficial, is juicing.  Just like juicing kale, apples, and other fruits and veggies, juicing raw Cannabis can be used to treat a myriad of conditions and improve overall health.

The leading expert in juicing raw Cannabis is Dr William Courtney, who has prescribed thousands of patients in California to juice the raw leaves and buds.
