Canada is home to the world's most highly regulated medical and recreational Cannabis legislation, the Cannabis Act.

The Cannabis Act is the fourth phase of government regulation/legislation

around Cannabis.  Such as the previous MMPR and ACMPR, the Cannabis Act requires Licensed Producers (LP's) to follow good production practices (GPP's) and standard operating procedures (SOP's), all of which are approved and regulated by Health Canada.  From seed or clone to sale or destruction, every step of a plant's life is documented and archived.

My experience under the MMPR had me creating and maintaining a database of seeds, seedlings, clones, mothers and production plants (veg and flower) following the plant from Mother, to propagation, through veg, flower, harvest, drying, trimming and curing.  From this I was responsible for overseeing all cultivation, sanitation and trimming practices while ensuring SOP's and GPP's were followed.

As a grower, working under these conditions requires strict attention to detail.  Every practice and process is recorded in both hard and digital copies pertaining to specific lot/batch numbers and updated during plant maintenance and cycle processes (seed/clone, veg, flower, etc).  I was responsible for overseeing the upkeep and maintenance of 54 strains, 87 phenotypes, and upwards of 15,000 plants in various stages of growth in greenhouses while ensuring the highest quality, cleanest flower possible.

Since 2016 I have overseen the design, management and direction of over 6.5 million square feet of cultivation space across the industry in indoor, outdoor and greenhouses.

**Note: All pictures under the Cannabis Act gallery are not my individual work, but were created, maintained and managed under my supervision and guidance during my time working with various Licensed Producers.
